This mornings newspaper brought the sad news that my cherished (although seldom-seen) friend, Kenny Pytynia, has passed away. I met Kenny when he was a police officer, but didnt really get to know him until we worked together at Sullair. I loved his sense of humor and we had a number of lengthy conversations during the four years we worked together ... and after. It was during one such conversation, not long after my introduction to politics at Sullair, that Kenny said to me one day, Charles ... your problem is that you sh** it too many peoples oatmeal! A few years later, when I got laid off, he asked me what I was going to do. My response: Kenny, Im going to find a bigger bowl of oatmeal! We both had a good laugh about that ... and whenever we ran into each other, hed ask me how big a bowl of oatmeal I was sh**ing in now. Sweet, little man! This world was better because of him!
