This nation is being boxed into a corner with ill conceived foreign and domestic policies, short term financial solutions to solve long term issues, an ineffective federal government whose lack of leadership has spilled over onto the state and local levels leaving the populous in a state of frustration, anger, mistrust, apathy and revolt. Gone are the days of believe-ability between voter and representative. Gone are the days of farsighted compromise for the good of all concerned. Gone are the wishes of the electorate for a fair and representative government. Gone is the openness and transparency each and every administration promises but fails to deliver. Gone is the open avenue for people to vocalize their wants, dreams, concerns and desires. And finally gone is the trust that the entire nation had in the leadership and wisdom in a government that at once represented them with strength and intelligence only to be replaced by corruption, lies and deceit.
