This new show called Cosmos looked like it might be a pretty good show. I watched the first episode and after learning that the narrator believes that we humans started out as space dust is just absurd. Although learning about our Solar system and beyond, did look pretty cool, it goes against my belief as a Christian, so I decided that it wasnt worth watching anymore. Scholars and archeologists have tried many time to dismiss the Bible, especially the Old Testament and the events that happened during that time. When we look at the speech that Stephen presented to the Sanhedrin in ACTS chapter 7, he paints the picture of time from Abraham up to his time of giving this speech. Now, how can scholars and archeologist disprove the bible when Stephen is telling about the prophesies and those yet to come when his speech is thousands of years later. Stephen was ultimately stoned to death for his speech. The Bible is the oldest book ever known to mankind and when scholars and archeologist try to disprove it, I have to laugh. My bible tells me what the truth of life is and I believe what my bible tells me. Why? Because if its in the Bible, then its nothing but the truth.
