This old mule! The Holy Spirit will encourage our dependence upon the shed blood and crucifixion of Christ. We will see that it is actually our flesh based “independent self efforts” that create within us sinful character defects and shortcomings. Upon Christ’s crucifixion monstrous shortcomings within us were put to death. We must trust in what He did at the cross in order for us to experience trusts itself. How do we trust? We are overcome by Gods love! We live in Gods will because we have a spiritual umbilical cord attached to His blood and His flesh. We are “in Christ”. That is if we have accepted Him into our lives. This is how we will draw our life and find the ability to live a Godly life. Being emotionally disturbed is almost always a symptom of not trusting in the Lord. God knows how to reach us to let us know just exactly what we are doing and what we need to do. He will break the stubborn mule that lives within us and turn us into a Stallion. His plan is to work out His will in us. There will be truths about our experience that will need to be said and the Holy Spirit will say them. The Holy Spirit will guide us into all truth. That is what the Holy Spirit is on this earth to do.
