This one goes out to all my fellow house/techno dancers, DJs, producers, and music appreciators. One of my top ten dance/DJ tracks, no doubt. Kevin Saunderson as E-Dancer on KMS Records, 1991. Just listen to that opening rhythmic structure, and how it leads so seamlessly into the synth line and one of the best uses of an abstract vocal snippet Ive ever heard. But then, it gets even better. Approaching the 3-minute mark, a new melody/synth pattern sneaks in from out of left field, kicking the song into an entirely new groove. Needless to say, this is one to get the blood and body pumping in time for a deep, late-night outing. Consider me ready.
