This one is for Thursday March 13th 2014 James 3: 13-18 Wisdom From Above 13. Who is wise and understanding among you? by his good conduct let him show his work in the meekness of wisdom 14. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not boast and be false to the truth. 15. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. 17. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. 18. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Corinthians 11: 30-31 30. If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness. 31. The God and Father of the Lord Jesus, he who is blessed forever, knows that I am not lying. Corinthians 12: 6 6. Though if I should wish to boast, I would not be a fool, for I would be speaking the truth; but I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me.
