This page is for Liberty Twp Residents. We all know that Porter County needs a new Animal shelter in a bad way, but Sunset Hill Farms is not the place to put it. Traffic is already bad enough. No one seems to understand this because they do not live near the park. What about the noise from all the cars, sirens, park happenings, etc., that may affect these already scared animals? What about our neighbors that live in close proximity to where they want to put the animal shelter, do they matter? Do they want to hear the constant noise from the animals barking at all hours of the day? There are so many issues with this. Please Porter County Parks and Recreation chose one of the other locations to put this shelter.
