This page seldom takes a political stand on issues, however, we are deeply concerned about our great city. Yesterday, New York City took 2 blows, 1) a confirmed case of Ebola, and 2) an attack on the NYPD as reported committed by a lone wolf jihadist. If this is true, the attack is a terrorist attack on our City and country. 1 day before there was 2 incidents in Canada. Our City leaders have made the decision earlier this year to disbanned the Muslim Surveillance Program by the NYPD. Was this such a good idea? Ultimately, we are left to protect ourselves and look out for each other. Today is a new day, there is no telling what today will bring. Be careful and remain vigilant. If you see something suspicious, report it immediately to the local authorities.
