This past semester Starfish supporter and CSU Junior Macall Hock (pictured on her visit to Guatemala in 2014), started Colorados first Shes the First chapter. It was the girls of Starfish who compelled me to start this. Meeting them and spending time with them allowed me to see their amazing confidence, motivation, and work ethic. It was hard to imagine what one college girl alone could do to help provide the means for these girls to satisfy their ambitious dreams, but Shes the First has campus chapters all over the country that work together to support students all over the world. These young women deserve the opportunity to reach their full potential, and I just want to help the best way I can to get them there.
