This picture brought an automatic smile to my face. Betty Bronson should have become famous after her breakthrough role as Peter Pan in the 1924 silent version, but despite roles in the 1925 version of "Ben Hur" and the Jolson movie "The Singing Fool" in 1928, her star diminished rapidly. She retired to get married in 1933 at age 27, but still popped up in later years in small guest spots on "Dr. Kildare" and "My Three Sons". Her last film was an uncredited bit part ("Sorority House Mother") in "Evel Knievel" in 1971, the year she died.
