This picture just popped in my news feed, shared by a friend. Its a dog rescued from a truck that was on its way to the dog slaughterhouse (or whatever they call it over there). The post says this photo is to raise awareness that there are people just as concerned about this atrocity in China, and doing something about it. A comment in the original post reminds people about the suffering of all animals used for food, as in cows, chickens, pigs...and how we forget about their pain and abuse. But what no one can ignore here is the look on the dogs eyes. Just look at it for a minute. They speak loudly, dont they? I believe everyone can hear that, even the hardest of hearts.... PS: Lets be more sensitive...all animals interact with us in so many ways...are we listening?
