This post is dedicated to my older brother who passed on Christmas morning from a heart attack. In his youth Jim excelled at music, academics, and was a pretty darn good baseball player. He quickly rose through the education field earning two master degrees. He was a principal by the time he was 25 and a special education director by the time he was in his early thirties. He paved the path for his two brothers and kids in that field and for that I will always be grateful. Raised three kids and was a proud grandfather. Most of all to me he was my big brother. I saw fight through his demons as we all do but he never lost his wit, intelligence, and humor. I wish I would have made that Christmas reach out call a day earlier. RIP Jim Jacobs.
