This post isnt exactly a creepy ghost experience I have had but my thoughts on our solo sessions at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, NV and on the many haunted lock downs that I have attended. :D *On several lock down events prior to me and my brother going out there and doing one ourselves, while the lock down staff was using the ovilus to try to communicate with spirit through this device, I have heard the word Crystal being displayed. This word came out and we all thought at the time that it meant mineral crystals that come from earth. ~ Crystals are thought and believed to have energy infused in them and many cultures in history have tried to harness their power using meditation or any of the other methods of becoming more attuned with their spiritual sides. ~ So on the lock downs we all believed the words were coming from native American Indians that were living on the land many, many years ago...before the saloon was built or the pioneers had come. Well, as my brother and I conducted our own sessions (first attempt) out at the saloon one night, the same word Crystal came out through the PSB-7 or spirit box. I had it in use in the Memorial room at the start of our lock down and some of the voices were coming out loud and clear. There was one voice in particular, a womans voice, that seemed to be a constant that night. Her voice was a friendly sounding one and was very clear to us. After a few general questions of How many? and Whats your name? we suddenly heard the woman say Crystal or what I believed to be Crystal. After a few more questions we decided to go to the main bar area and continue with the spirit box communication attempts. On our first night out there, we noticed after concluding in the main bar area and returning to memorial room, the track lighting in the memorial room was completely dark. I nor my brother touched the light switch on the wall that controlled the lights. I was in a little shock. The light switch that turns the lights on and off is really a dimmer switch and slides down very easily when physically manipulated. But like I said neither one of us touched the switch while we walked into the main bar. As the night went on, Dennis went to use the restroom. I stayed in the memorial room and thought I would ask if the ghosts had turned out the lights in this room. I got a yeah from a female voice. I believe it was the same voice that said Crystal. For a ghost energy to physically manipulate light switches to turn them off and on, it takes quite a bit of energy to do so. I am now thinking that Crystal was once a lady of the night and had worked the saloon at one point. She may have had a bad experience within the walls of the saloon or out back where the ladies would take their customers for a night of fun. I cant fully tell of who or what happened to her or if she really was a living being that may have died on the premises or nearby. Even using the spirit box, she hasnt eluded to anything of herself other than a possible name, Crystal. This was the first night. The second time that we had ventured out to the saloon on our own I believe that Crystal or another strong energy was present with us. As I was sitting in the main bar near the bullet holes that are still in the wall using my cell phone to post something on Facebook, the juke box suddenly turned on by itself. I didnt see with my eyes when it really started up because I was looking at my cell phone at that moment. But I heard a grinding sound and that is what made me look up towards the corner where the sound was coming from. At first seconds, my brain was trying to analyze why the juke box would be on. It was completely off the first two hours of our session and now suddenly it was on. It wasnt playing any music but was displaying all of the selections. The juke box stayed on the rest of the time we were there. Logically it could have been a short in the electrical wiring or something mechanical like this but when I text Noel the owner/caretaker of the saloon the next morning to tell him the juke box came on by itself, he stated, that event has never happened before. He said that was weird. Well, Crystal was also there this second night we did a session. I could hear her familiar voice coming through every so often through the spirit box. Could this have been Crystal who turned the juke box on and was apparently trying to get my attention away from my phone? Or was it another ghost manipulating the juke box? I am believing myself that it was Crystal who does this. Turning lights on and off and other mechanical stuff in the saloon. When the lights were turned off the first night, maybe she was just being helpful? Its a routine for the staff who work the last shift in the saloon to turn off all the lights in the place so maybe she was just following a routine? I dont really know for sure the answer and probably will really know exactly who or what or why they are doing the things they seemingly are doing at the saloon. Even with the strongest psychic or sensitive in the world, I dont think that they can even get a 100% answer for the people who are existing on this side of the veil. I believe that many things in life are to remain a mystery. That is what life is really all about, the mystery and the attempt to find an answer. So if any of you out there ever are out the saloons way and want to to do a lock down your selves then please dont forget about Crystal. She is apparently loving all the attention that the living give her and the other ghosts of The Pioneer Saloon. She doesnt want to be a forgotten soul. :D *
