This post tribulation teaching is directly against what i was taught. Was i baised reading Scripture then maybe fitting my own pre-trib rapture interpretation i heard preached before? Were all baised by what we see and hear - thats why we pray lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen. Few people knew when Christ arrived and Who He is but had no clue if He would be Suffering and Rejected, or Warrior and Ruler. Nobody knew but the flesh mind assumes what it wants. Pentecost changed all that. We can tell by reading Scripture that the apostles thought Christ would rule from then on. Peter fell asleep when the Lord said He just wanted 1 hour of prayer. Peter chopped the ear off 1 of the Roman guards who came to take Christ away. Peter was also given revelation that Jesus is God in flesh. Main point is there are 2 distinct descriptions of Christ from the Tanakh or Old Testament. Could Christ remove us for reward and return again for judgment? Or could majority belief be our guide? If i was 1 of the apostles i wouldve said Zap em Lord! Zap every single 1 of those dogs! Start your Day right! We will never fully understand Scripture. Unless were scholars, none of us have time to review and keep every little detail fresh in mind. We have more grace from God in this age to understand. Is there a rapture or are we cowardly trying to avoid refinement or persecution? Will no rapture lead to the great falling away when Christ describes people betraying each other? From what i saw, i believe (from vision and interpretation of Scripture) that we will see some horrendous birth pangs and be raptured when things are at their worst ( just before tribulation) but the Body of Christ is at our best, with full trust and hope in Him. If you understand how merciful Christ is toward people who really want to serve Him, then you might realize God corrects and protects those He loves. We love other people, Christ loves us, so some suffering not only reveals true character, but is the final outstretched Hand of God to sinner. God wants us to realize we have no hope in this dying world, that we lie to ourselves within a temporary perspective, heart so deceptive. Do not fear the future if you have a relationship with Christ the way He asks. Summarizing is best: People didnt understand the role of Christ even when He was with them. They wanted a conquering King but needed a Sacrifice for sin. As the Holy Spirit graced believers with understanding, just as in science, that knowledge was built upon through generations of study. Was the harpazo or rapture a wish for no persecution or a real Holy Spirit inspired revelation in the 1800s when it became accepted? Key question. Heres what matters: We love God totally and others as much as ourselves. If the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin then we repent or turn away, OK? We also know we are called to rightfully divide the Word. How many of us know the 10 Commandments or Decalogue? i thought so. God is love and understands if you are super busy and have no spare time. Try to be persistent. Watch this vid if you have time. This is not what i believe but i listened with open mind and pray i have not been deceived by my own wizdumb. Maybe this man is correct in His study and i am wrong. We never condemn before investigating. Frustrating not to be able to decipher my own visions!!! Dont put faith in me or any person but Christ. Grow steady and slow, its a marathon, not a sprint. We all find as we dig deeper there is more to discover. Please know if i am wrong about the rapture i apologize. Calvary Chapel was my home church for a long time and i obviously have taken the same stand. Thought this issue was sealed in my mind but am so fearful that i misinterpret and preach lies. This is 1 subject in Scripture that i still get confused by. Scripture seems to support pre, mid and post tribulation. Sadly, i must admit, i was baised about rapture. Part of me thinks do i have the right, while others are suffering and dying for Christ around the world, to have the audacity to hope Christ will remove us? Another part of me knows life isnt fair. The ruling class never goes to war, never sacrifices, yet takes all the spoils. Theres way too much to list. Most of us are blessed. i knew people who had to walk miles with 5 gallon buckets to get water, living under awful govt, and dodging military caravan murderers. Yeah, so lifes not fair. You got it? Spoiled people we are. 1 vision i looked down at the USA and saw Kansas as the eye of a giant storm, God placed me on a mountain where i was safe, but idk what most visions mean. Most of you cant understand this but it comes down to parenthetical mysteries. God has foreknowledge about all decisions we humans make, thus by His grace, we are given mysteries revealed at the proper times. Please dont get confused by this. Do you realize this is all about 1 mysterious Greek word, harpazo, that has dual meaning? Blinking or twinkling of the eye, which is fast, also means to remove or snatch away from harm. If a injured bird is about to get pounced on by a cat we would rapture that bird into our loving hands and call a vet who refers us to animal rehabbers. Know Christ loves all of us, died for us and is the perfect example of how were to sacrifice. Can we and do we? If we could and did then Christ died in vain. We all fall short, have room for improvement, wont reach 100% of our potential, so get over that part, OK? Focus on prayer, communicating with Christ 1st thing in the morning, reading Scripture and as you mature try to fast. Seal the covenant between you and God almighty. Now is time.
