This post was inspired by Amanda Strickland Cavin asking me if I was ...Ready for my new school year at OMS?Strangely I am ready mentally for my 44 th year of Back to School 27th as a teacher . So hard to believe I can not imagine my life without school . When fall hits I am ready for the noise, excitement, the new things I will learn and the tremendous changes in the lives around me. This year my challenge is a new blended model and getting back to my roots as a middle school teacher. It feels like building a plane while I am flying and that is what is great about teaching ... You never completely master it there is always more to learn !!! Happy New Year! I have been thinking about it as I traveled and had great conversations with teachers around the world .
