This quilt Im sharing with you is called Dusk A LOrange It is 13 inches square and has 4,150 pieces. Its made with dupioni silk the blocks are one inch square with some having as many as 35 pieces. I make lots of mistakes when Im sewing a quilt. Sometimes the color is in the wrong place etc etc. Virginia claims these squares and makes them into a Christmas ornament. We decorate 2 Christmas trees during the holidays. Our family tree and our feather tree with all of my mistakes. During the Christmas season when someone visits we give them one of my mistakes to take away. There are always plenty more where that came from.
