This reminds me of a call I received once back when I was a police officer in King City. A group of juveniles were kicking and hitting a possum with a stick in the street. They just kicked it and hit it back and forth then decided to pick it up and throw it. I told them it was quite possible the animal was not dead and just playing possum. When the animal was tossed over to one of the kids with the biggest mouth in the group the Possum suddenly resurrected himself from the dead. He proceeded to chew off the pinky of Mr. Big Mouth who suddenly decided he wasnt so knowledgeable about wild animals after all. The possum ran off leaving the kids finger in the gutter. I think that ended his aspirations of being another Marlin Perkins.......
