Ive shared this before but I want to share it again for some of the newbies. Peter Gray has written a lot about hunter-gatherer childrens learning on his blog. He generally advocates free or open schools where students mainly guide their own curriculum. Not sure I see the full spectrum there because children are separated from the family unit. Do you think that the Paleo movement will eventually encompasses education?? I personally homeschool my daughter in co-operation with a local school that is strictly classes for homeschooling families. (the district calls it alternative learning) There is a really cool website “Taking Children Seriously” by David Deutsch, and I recommend it as a place to start with your investigation. takingchildrenseriously/ I also love this TEDx by Seth Godin. He did a keynote speaker at an event I attended a few years ago, and I had to check out his Stop Stealing Dreams website. Lots of things to think about....
