This segment of the corruption 101 series will reveal how coercion is performed by the modern federal US government and how a large segment of the American population is subject to Stockholm syndrome, defending their own ruling system that is designed to keep them economically and socially deprived. Coercion is coined by many social psychologists as the ‘anti-freedom’. Ironically, the very practice is designed to promote an illusion of freedom while simultaneously taking it away. Coercion [koh-ur-shuhn] noun 1.the act of coercing; use of force or intimidation to obtain compliance. 2.force or the power to use force in gaining compliance, as by a government or police force. The concept of coercion is basically telling someone that you have to do this or I will do this to you. The act of coercion is illegal for you or me (as it should be), but this is the only way the government can assure compliance of the laws they create. For example, if you don’t pay taxes to the government, they will eventually put you in jail. Let me ask you this, if I were to come up to you and say that you must give me 30% of your income or I will kidnap you and threaten your life if you resist… would I be guilty of a crime? Of course the answer would be yes, so why isn’t it a crime when the government does it? Some might say its because that’s the law… well guess who wrote the law… the same people who are now using coercion gain compliance. If you refuse to obey the law, depending on the severity, you will be ticketed and fined. If you don’t pay the fine you will be arrested. If you refuse to be arrested, you will be assaulted and taken by force. If you try to fight back, you will be met with deadly force. The severity of the crime may streamline the process, but the bottom line is that violence or the threat of violence is how they ensure you conform to the laws they’ve set.
