This shelter is located at 165 Vance Academy Rd, Henderson, NC. They quit using the gas chamber and went to heart stick-as if thats any better! Pitbulls can not be adopted from here-they are rescue only. Shelters and rescues are full, so if no one steps up to foster or adopt, they die by heart stick. MARY J & BABIES (Lab Mix, 1 F 1+ year 35-40 lb, HW results pending, 2F one week, 1M one week) Mary J is an owner surrender with 3 babies about a week old. Mary J is an outgoing & affectionate lady.
