This should not piss you off because he is famous and got off easy. This should piss you off because this is a completely normal outcome and might even be worse than most parents get. In every practical way - child abuse is legal. Almost no one goes to jail for hurting their kids. Almost no one is fined for it. The only people who pay are the kids by being removed from their homes and face abuse in foster care or keep enduring the abuse in the home. If you find this outrageous, then get pissed off and say that child abuse is a real crime, even if you arent famous.
