This shows struggle of adolescence and the affects of puberty peer pressure conditioning, when did survival of the fittest become a popularity contest to fit into societies mold. I wish people would look at what they do and say and stop parroting what they see and hear on TV, i despise the competitive cooking, building, singing, dancing and landscaping shows where you are publicly judged and humiliated for ratings. What happened to Jamie Oliver showing you how to make a fantastic dish for you friends and family and tradesmen doing a reno for community members who for a variety of reasons were deemed worthy. Life is a journey and not a competition, somewhere along the way humanity has forgotten what this means, where i grew up you acknowledge other people in the street as you walked past with a smile and morning now we exist in our own little halo of indifference passing each other without so much as a smile, looking up from our hand held communication/information device often enough only to avoid collision.
