This so speaks of our world today. This is not debatable to me, if you dont believe or disagree, please, keep your comments to yourself on this one. He speaks of a child in Liberia, but, to me this is more than about abandoned children, it is about us, all of us. Our being away from God, to Him, is a lot like our children being somewhere that we cant reach and protect them. I have never lost a child, and I pray that I never do, I just cant imagine the feeling I would have that I failed to protect them, and that I would have taken their place. I think that is how God feels when He loses one of us. He didnt just lose His son, He GAVE His son. Think about that. God so love the world, that He GAVE His ONLY son. So that ALL who believe in Him shall have everlasting life. (John 3:16) And then Jesus, the one who was given FOR us tells us I will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5) Pretty powerful when you think about it.
