This song has been on my mind so much over the past week or two. I have heard it many times but one day last week I really stopped to think about the lyrics. Its about losing a child and how God holds those who are hurting deeper than they could ever have imagined hurting. I hope I never have to know the pain that comes from losing a child, but now that I have a child of my own it makes my heart stop to even think about it. This morning Chris called to tell me about a family who lost a young child last night. Although we have several mutual friends, I dont even know these people. But my heart has been heavy for them all day. I wanted to share this song with my friends who have lost children. The biggest thing that sticks out in my memory when Mitch Hardison died last year is Pastor Ferrells posts about how God was wrapping His arms around them and holding and comforting them and giving them so much peace through it all. I have prayed all day that the family that has suffered this terrible loss today is experiencing that same peace of God holding them. This is what it is to be loved and to know that the promise was when everything fell wed be held.
