This speaks volumes... and makes a number of valid points... but my questions are: 1) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for stealing this nation from the natives (which science now says were here THOUSANDS of years before Columbus discovered it? 2) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for failing to LEARN THE LANGUAGE... ASSIMILATE... and all the other garbage they think other invaders (many of whose ancestors were also here first) are supposed to do? 3) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for bringing African-Americans here in the first place? 4) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for the fact that MLK and the Civil Rights movement was necessary a full century after Lincoln freed the slaves? 5) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for the violence against the Freedom Riders and others who saw the evils of segregation first? 6) When are white people going to take responsidamnbility for... well, you get the idea. Yes, minorities need to take responsidamnbility for themselves, but so do white people... and I say that after being pulled over by a cop who thought they had a brother because I was driving a green 2-dr Lincoln with a white top despite the fact I was being passed right and left by clearly white people. I say that because when a black family moved into my neighborhood, it was my Lincoln that got validated in the night because it never occurred to these skinhead-rednecks that a black man might drive the Toyota. Racism is still alive and well in the United States... and the biggest problem is that most people are too busy trying to deny that theyre racist to see more clearly the words and actions that have people calling you a racist! Take some responsidamnbility!
