This statement has never been more relevant. The government (all parties) can stick it to us all they want...give our tax dollars to countries that hate us and causes that benefit none of us, waste our money on booze, hookers, and fancy vacations, unfairly impose the rules of government upon us, try to "data-mine" our phone conversations and emails, and attempt to stomp our God-given rights into the ground - but the American people can see beyond that. We get up everyday; drive buses to get people to work, drive fire engines to help people in need, drive police cars to protect the public, drive garbage trucks to keep the streets clean, teach exhaustive lesson-plans to children who would rather be out playing, work under-staffed med-surg floors in the hospital to heal people, bake bagels and make the best iced-tea in the world so overworked underpaid graduate students can have a place to study...we do that for the betterment of OUR COUNTRY, the betterment of our FELLOW CITIZENS, not for the betterment of a strong centralized government entity 1,500 miles away that longs to peer and interfere into our lives. May the Good Lord always bless a free America. May we always stay free and our great grandchildren never have to ask, "What was it like to be free?"
