We’d like to extend a big welcome to the newest member of the Asgaard beef family: a strapping Devon bull, Lord Durham. His name is a nod to his English heritage, and the 1988 classic baseball film Bull Durham. Aside from his strapping good looks, Lord Durham brings us an esteemed pedigree of two well bred Devon lines: the New Zealand/English Rotokawa and the American Lakota. We are especially appreciative of local breeder Dennis O’Hara of O’Hara’s Adirondack Devon for strengthening the Adirondack farming community with his beautiful herd. Lord Durham is quickly acclimating to our herd of Devon, Red Angus, and Whiteface Hereford cows as we help build the future of high quality, nutritious, grass-fed beef right here in the Adirondacks! #grassfedbeef #adkfarming
