This sums up my thoughts on the situation, its unfortunate a very cut and dry situation (basically who was the aggressor, the cop or the kid) has caused a racial divide, when all that should really matter is who was in the right. If the kid legitimately didnt attack the officer, the the officer should be jailed and prosecuted as such. If (like the jury decided) the kid was trying to grab the cops gun and attack him and failed to comply, then unfortunately (in the sense that losing lives is never good) the cop had to do what he did to save himself. Its a pity that people see this only as a racial problem, when really it should only matter who was right/wrong on a case to case basis.
