You cannot understand life, truth, reality, the Supreme Self, God. You cannot figure it out. The mind only understands illusion, a tiny, abstracted, distorted, limited fragment of reality. Thats the very best it can do. When you finally give up trying to figure it out, trying to understand, trying to know, the truth of life is instantly completely clear. It is only our mental interpretations that distort what is always here in all its incredible, beautiful and amazing simplicity. If you really want to know the truth of life, simply stop looking, stop seeking, stop trying to understand or figure it out. Simply stop. That is all you need do. Simply stop. And in this silent presence, life will be here as it always is. That is the secret. That is the whole practice. Simply stop. When you stop seeking, what you seek will be revealed as always here. When you stop trying to understand, understanding will be complete. It may sound paradoxical or like some kind of Zen bull*hit. But that is only because the mind cannot understand reality. Just stop and see if this is not true.
