This sweet creature is named Imani, and he lost his hearing at age five, and is a teacher of sign language for the deaf community here in Ujiji, Tanazania. He has been under the tutelege of the Brothers of Charity since he was five, and although he was born into an Islamic family, after so many years, he converted to Catholicism, at age 23, as he realized these are my people. I gave him this holy medal of St. Anthony, patron saint of lost things....it is my hope that Our Lord will restore his lost hearing.....Musonda and I have planned to take him to Kibeho, where the Blessed Mother appeared in Rwanda, and also where many miracles take place. (Musonda himself had his own vision restored, and he no longer wears glasses). If you can find time for this special petition, that his hearing be restored, it would be greatly appreciated....a convert from Islam who experiences a miracle could rock the Islamic world here in Tanzania! I prayed for it heartily in Adoration yesterday. This guy is radiant! Ujiji, Tanzania
