This thread is not a Christianity thread. As the creator and manager of this group, I welcome and want people of any faith or no faith or just questioning about a god to participate here and contribute. Christians however, do tend to intersect with the lives and aspirations of transgender people. I am sure that many of you deem this intersection to be reckless and wrathful. and when it is (all too often), then it certainly is hurtful and damaging. As a Christian, I shudder at that condemnation and ask you to believe me that hared and exclusion is not The Way of Jesus Christ, or any authentic follower. The religious right does not reflect pristine Christianity. Here is a very insightful comment from a transgender women on her view of Christian faith. Even if uninterested in faith issues, you might want to read it as a counter to broken christians arguing that anything different what they as a judger of you deems to be a God-given normal is a sin.
