This time 21 years ago..... It was only about midnight or so on our way to Sharp Corner in Ikeja to drink pepper-soup We had just been stopped by some half drunk \ half crazed mobile policemen at Allen roundabout. Okapi was driving with quite a large sum of money hidden carefully under the spare tyre of the 04 station wagon. Balo had his passport on him and about 200 pounds in his wallet with a few bank cards. The mopols staked their claim. We spoke many English and quoted both English and Nigerian law One of the mopols got upset and fired his gun in the air All 3 of us became Lizards and hit the dirt in 3 seconds flat (no be to lie down?) Funny thing was I was getting married in a few days..... (na only God save my coconut head!)
