This time 24 years ago, I was doing some of the hardest work I have ever done...I was giving birth to my first born son, Cole Baker. I thought for sure I was going to die, but the pain was worth the pleasure of looking into his beautiful eyes once he was born. I never knew I could love anything or anybody like I Love this fella and his brother. Cole, you have been a pleasure to watch grow up and become a man. You took to farm life like a fish takes to water. I dont think I have ever met an individual that loves tractors and playing in the dirt like you. You were born for this life. When we found out your daddy was sick, you stepped up to the plate and did everything that was asked of you and more. Sam was extremely proud of you and so am I. I know that you are busting your butt right now trying to get those grapes harvested, but when you are through, you go out and enjoy a belated birthday celebration. If anyone deserves it more than you, I dont know who it would be. Happy 24th Birthday son...I love you.
