This time Im not taking my sofa off freecycle until it has actually left the building! If Id realised it would be this much hassle I would have booked the council large item collection for £33 but they need a weeks notice and new one coming on Fri morning. One person was going to collect it Sat but cancelled on Fri as the person with the van had let them down. One person came to see it yesterday evening and was meant to let me know having checked itd go through a cottage door.. I missed their call by 5 min and have only got the answer phone since, have left several messages and havent called back ... which is pretty rude :( Relisted, put in free ad in paper for thur and, theoretically, it is being collected on Wed afternoon.
