This time next week a few local teachers will present their Professional Development board with the request to allow an instructor from the Churchill School & Center to facilitate a workshop on the #1 learning disability in children--dyslexia! This would be a HUGE stepping stone and a major eye-opener for our teachers. Once they are understand the magnitude of what our local schools are lacking in resources, we are confident we will have a small army of teachers backing us along the way. We are very excited for the upcoming school year and hope to see, at the very least, minor changes implemented. The best is yet to come! Please keep our special learners in your thoughts and if you are a praying individual, please pray for them!
