This time of year should be the most calm & cheerful time as we reflect on the Reason for the season. Somewhere its been ingrained that quantity is the focus over quality. Ppl stress & get depressed bc the tree doesnt have much underneath or in some cultures choosing among Jordans or whatevers trending vs priorities. Everyones at liberty to do as they wish but its just unfortunate to do it at the expense of what truly matters. Whats the message & how long will it continue to be passed down? Yes it is better to give than receive but it shouldnt be turned into a game of take, give, how much. Lets not use biblical scriptures as subliminal rants bc others wont fund or help upkeep lavish lifestyles when there is no need for anything. Pray about it all, starting with self. I thank God for everything & beyond grateful for meeting needs, love, joy, genuinely good ppl ... words cant cover the gratitude. Thank You Sir! Be mindful socialites of the Reason & what actually matters... the messages we send to our/all children. #totd Enjoy your day loves:)
