This tuesday night sept. 16th, joining Randy Forsberg, I am happy to present Alex Varughese a.k.a.- Lex Justice with invites Jimmy Guiboche and Jeff Lisk. LEX - A 15 year veteran of the business.Starting out with SUGAKANE, a prog-rock band that he founded in 2000 and lead to commercial success, three albums and continental touring. In 2007, Varughese joined with established blues group JIMMY & THE SLEEPERS and together did a EP entitled Cest La Vie. Varughese then took on the moniker of Lex Justice in 2008 and founded the popular reggae group LEX JUSTICE & RASPECT. In between touring and performing, he also worked as a stage manager/guitar tech for many artists (The Road Hammers/George Canyon/Kim Mitchell etc) and even worked as a bodyguard, learning the inside and outs of the music world and its many angles. In 2012 KINGDOOM was unveiled, Justice darkest and heaviest offering to the ears, an Industrial Heavy Metal band he created with Chris Vrenna, a GRAMMY award winner and legend in the hard rock world (Nine Inch Nails/Smashing Pumpkins/Marilyn Manson). KINGDOOM is the most current and active project that he is a part of, with two full length albums (KINGDOOM Self-Titled2012 & KINGDOOM Stand-Up Chameleon2014) the band has found top ten charting across the USA in 2014. He has also toured and made cameos with Canadian heavyweights Big Sugar (percussion/vox) and Econoline Crush (bass guitar). He has recorded 7 studio albums and 1 live album in his career, toured with the likes of Randy Bachman, 54-40, Wide Mouth Mason, Nazareth, The Headstones, Colin James, Tea Party, Danko Jones, The Cult, Hellyeah and many others.
