This type of behavior seems to be the new norm for republican, and some democratic politicians. They take campaign contributions (bribes) from huge corporations and wealthy individuals, and then allow these corporations and people to have their way with our laws and regulations. This has got to stop. I dont care what party is involved. If a politician takes money from some one or some business, and then proposes legislation favorable to them / it that is harmful to the people or the environment, they should be kicked out of office and charged with accepting a bribe. In fact, all contributions in excess of $100 dollars from any individual or corporation should be illegal. We cannot allow the wealthiest among us to have any more influence on our political process than do the poorest of our citizens. 1 person, 1 vote regardless of their wealth or lack thereof. No more Super Pacs no more anonymous advertisements, no more massive contributions by anonymous agents of the mega wealthy. Our political system has been systematically purchased by these people and their companies. It has to stop.
