This video is NOT about our groups mission trip (KDs from Ole Miss joined by a group from Rockhurst University out of Kansas City) to Nicaragua this week; however, it is about the area they have been working to build a school in La Chuscada, Chinandega, Nicaragua. Ive had a difficult time finding information about La Chuscada --- its even hard to find on a simple map bc it is such a rural and remote village. Even though this prior video is about other groups working to help get clean water into La Chuscada, it helped me to visualize the location --- the terrain, the village, and its people --- and the amazing determination, hard work, dedication, and heart-felt gratitude by the people of La Chuscada to Amigos for Christ, the full-time missionaries, and all the volunteers for helping La Chuscada to get a clean and safe water supply. No doubt, they are truly just as grateful this week to have volunteers from Ole Miss and Rockhurst helping to build a school for their children. I have a feeling our kids have been blessed as much or more than they have blessed others in Nicaragua this week! Prayers for their safety as tomorrow is their last full day in La Chuscada, Chinandega, Nicaragua --- and they will begin travels back to the states and to their various destinations by automobiles on Saturday.
