This video is a true masterpiece. If you think about it , it tells us a story. the cage represents a mental illness. Sia uses maddie to represent a young version of herself shia is the father. Maddie and shia in this video both have a mental illness and they are trying to escape it. Maddie (young version of sia) finally breaks free from the illness but her dad does not. She goes back for him but he cannot escape because he cant change his ways. So if you think about it Sia is sharing with us something she had to go through as a kid, so you people saying this video is inappropriate and wrong, you need to think about the things Sia has overcome.
