This war in America needs to stop! Do #blacklivesmatter ? Yes! Do #bluelivesmatter ? Yes! #alllivesmatter and if we dont start to realize this, as a nation, we are in big trouble. Not all blacks are thugs and gang bangers, not all cops abuse their power, not all whites are racist...I can go on and on but its pointless. Martin Luther King wanted everyone to be judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Jesus Christ tells us to love one another (everyone). If we just take those two simple but profound statements and apply them to our lives then we would be so much better off. I worked with law enforcement for five years and met some of the most amazing people. Almost all of my encounters with law enforcement are positive because the only law I ever really break is the speed limit. When this does happen I treat the officer with respect and almost always get the same treatment in return. It doesnt have to be black vs blue. Those two colors combined are often used to describe severe bruising that resulted from a viscous physical altercation. Until we find away to come together then that is what we will have. I said it earlier and I will say it again #alllivesmatter!
