This was Brooklyn after the IEP meeting! I think she was happy! She will continue on medical home bound as the school still does not have a seizure plan in place to deal with the apnea that Brooklyn has with her seizures! We will meet again in January and review her seizures between now and then and then decide the plan for the 2nd semester. I really would like for her to be able to go to school but Im so thankful they recognize the fact that this is about Brooklyns safety! First and foremost when she seizes and stops breathing she doesnt have minutes to spare! Literally, her life is dependent on you instantly rescue breathing for her and starting CPR! Im really relieved tonight that she will continue to be home and I thank God for answering prayers on Brooklyns behalf! Love & Big Hugs!!
