This was a very comforting video. Death always seemed so frightening to me, and it was no less frightening to watch my other slowly fade, but something else has happened to me too: learning to change crippling sadness to solace, just a little bit at a time, every single day. It is an active choice. It is a goal. Through my daily routines, through my curiosity, through my friends, through my family, through my art and passions; through knowing even though she is not physically with me, shes a part of universe - she is everywhere, even in the air I breathe. Every time I see a butterfly, it makes me think of her. I always see it as a good omen, and it always - always - puts tears in my eyes and gives me pause to remember that everything is going to be ok. I love you, Mommy.
