This was an interesting recap of a couple commerical (i.e., non-scientific, but still interesting) studies of peoples preferences for considering relationships with others, depending on images and profiles, but sorting the patterns afterwards by race. The report gives no value judgment, only the data; you can take your own meanings from it. I could not help but think of supply & demand when they sited instances of a given demographic getting more invites and also being more picky about accepting them, or conversely getting fewer invites and being less picky about accepting them. Other more scientific social research has reported that shifting the population balance between males & females shifts social norms sharply. E.g., where men are in short supply, dating tends to suit males tastes more-so, and where females are in short supply, dating tends to suit female tastes. youtube/watch?v=HjSh_esW9W4
