This was many years ago, but my brother got busted by an undercover ATF officer, with my Double Barrel 12 gauge shotgun that was sawed off 3 inches too short. He did not have my permission to have my pillow gun. I did not know about it till the next day when I answered a knock on the door and my yard was full of cops. City, County, State and Federal. They had a search warrant and a just in case arrest warrant. I had over 100 guns at the time but the sawed off 12 gauge had been the only illegal one. They searched my room, my brothers room the rest of the house and both our vehicles. They found nothing else illegal and no reason to use the just in case arrest warrant for me, they did arrest my brother. The ATF officer in charge told me that my brother had told them it was my gun but they did not catch me with it so they had nothing on me. He asked me why I would have such an illegal gun in the first place. I looked him right in the eyes and said I would rather have that and have to answer to you for killing an intruder, than to have that intruder have to answer for killing me. He said, Ill bet you will just go get you another one, right? I said You damn right I will He said well dont let me catch you with it. I said, You didnt catch me with this one, you caught my dumb @$$ brother. He just smiled. I love the 1911 and I want another one real bad, but if you disturb me from my sleep breaking in my house, my old eyes may not be to clear, therefore I prefer a Double Barrel 12, loaded with Double OO Buckshot. I hope I never again have to open fire on anyone, but if some idiot makes me have too, I aint shooting to warn or wound.........JP/GE P.S. No, I do not at this time have any illegal guns, so any cops reading this, dont bother me. I am disabled and can not afford them anymore.............
