This was my first attempt at anything creepypasta like, and - TopicsExpress

This was my first attempt at anything creepypasta like, and remains my only. Iv never been happy with it, but still would like to share it. Those Are Not Stars Above Us: The looming evergreens made me feel insignificant in perspective as I lied nearly frozen in the snow. Time had faded, and the delirium of the cold was almost paradoxical enough to make me undress to attempt warmth. No longer sure how long I had been staring at the lights that peered down from higher then even the mountainous foliage that surrounded, memory started to finally slink back into the confines of my mind. No images or words came to mind, only a fear that resides with the encounter of what the human race instinctively feared; the unknown. This fear fueled my brain to cease succumbing to the cold that pierced like blades, and cognitive thought finally set in. It was only then that I realized what was so wrong. It was not the fear, waking up on a wintry mountainside, lose of memory, or threat of hypothermia that no longer caused worry. Unheard over the howl of what originally was assumed as the sound of wind, those are not stars above us, uttered from my iced lips. The lights in the sky descended quickly, illuminating the vast blackness that consumed the landscape. The hum of the electrical frequencies quickly caused a maddening, deafening pain that reverberated through my skull so greatly inexplicable that I had not realized I was no longer in my bed of snow and was rather already approaching the gate from which the light erupted from. Still shellshocked from the noise and fear, I slammed my eyes shut as quickly as I could. The last glimpse I had was of an unnaturally white room that seemed to have no walls, floor, or even space to exist within before cold, grey, inhuman hands grasped my body. Screaming, a metal instrument that felt colder than even the frost that layered my body decimated my abdomen. It was then I shot up in my bed, carrying what seemed to be the same scream from only moments ago. I quickly leaped up and ripped off my clothing, scouring my body for any markings or damage. I found that I seemed to be intact, and to have only suffered another night terror. It was then, once I had calmed and could hear over my heart beat, that I heard the indescribable, rhythmic ticking softly chirping inside of my core. I could feel it begin to squirm inside of me.
