This was my first time staying at a BNB and it was an excellent experience. Linda was a very thoughtful host that hit all the marks when it came to providing us with creature comforts while away from home. Thick soft towels, beautiful big pedestal sink in the bathroom, lots of storage, minifridge, bottle of wine, fruit & muffin basket, ect... The view from the living quarters is open and relaxing with tons of natural light during the day. The patio is equipped with a magnificent fire pit that is primed with white oak and pine cones. The warm antique furniture and soft textiles made for a familiar and cozy environment. We were traveling by motorcycle and were exhausted when we arrived. Linda was so generous that she actually lent us one of her vehicles so that we could comfortably go into town and have a nice meal without having to get back out into the night air. I can’t imagine too many people would do that for strangers. Staying with Linda is like staying at a friends that has spent a lot of time preparing for your arrival. I would not hesitate to recommend Linda’s “Grey Garden’s” to anyone staying in or around Carmel Valley. Mike ~ Orange County, CA
