This was my prayer this morning: oh Lord we praise You and Thank You for never leaving nor forsaking us even when I know now You must have been up there shaking Your head sayingwhen will they listen, when will they get it. Then I open up my Bible to the next portion of my study: My son, do not make light of the Lords discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because The Lord disciplines those He loves, and punishes everyone He accepts as a son. So as we are making plans, goals, resolutions...and stating we will do better at eating right...being with family more....having more boundaries...getting rid of that one sin you are still holding onto, dont forget to add MORE time not just reading your Bible but actually asking God what His word says for you, and then OBEYING....asking what He wants from you, and actually LISTENING and not just asking Him to bless you goals, plans and resolutions but to make sure He is the one who led you to make them. You can make many plans, but the LORDs purpose will prevail. Proverbs 19:21 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9
