This was one of the comments. Guys this isnt about a kid that didnt want to roll a window down. If you want to refer to him as a brat or jerk... Well, go ahead, a lot of people called Rosa Parks names when she caused a commotion about not going to the back of the bus. With some of the thought processes Im seeing here, you all would tell Rosa, Stop being stuck up. or Just go to the back, and stop causing problems. Chris is making everyone aware how quickly his Rights were trampled, HE DID NOTHING BUT STAND ON HIS RIGHTS, guaranteed to him. Think about the situation before you judge and name call. LOOK AT THE BIG PICTURE. As Americans we are guaranteed certain rights in the Bill of Rights. If we allow our rights to be trampled, then we may as well be living in China. The 4th amendment protects us from the Government via illegal search and seizure. We all deserve privacy and to be left alone. All of the Rights we were given were from how we were treaty smo poorly by the King of England. Before the Revolutionary War, soldiers could march into your home, take your belongings, sleep in your bed, spy on you, and eat your food all in the name of the king and you could do nothing about it. Think about this also, this is a DUI checkpoint, but yet they are also using it as an excuse to search for contraband. When we allow the Government to have more power and control over our lives, you better believe it will start being abused. If we truly turn into a socialist society, which is the way we are heading, it wont be overnight. It will be a gradual erosion of our rights and liberty, until one day well wake up and no longer be able to speak openly, no way to defend ourselves, and under constant surveillance..... essentially Orwells 1984.
