This was so empowering for my mom :) My parents and family friends came to watch me line dance last night and outside we also watched the Drag Show (before the storm rolled in). Long story short, the hostess called my mom out in the audience expressing to her how beautiful she is and that she reminded her of Elizabeth Taylor. This reminded me just how important random acts of kindness are. More than any other day this past year, this was the day my mom needed to be acknowledged and seen. SO POWERFUL! The hostess may never know how much healing energy she gave to my mom by doing that :) Thank you! Moral of story: Show kindness. Always. Spontaneous acts of kindness go a long way.
